Our first release of 2020 is here! SD Records are delighted to introduce the newest member of our family – Francesco TA.
Originally from Italy, Francesco developed a taste for dance music after moving to Glasgow with the explosion of commercial deep house and his first techno party experiences.
Francesco’s two tracks feature lo-fi wave, overdrive sounds and spoken movie fragments that give off longing and nostalgic vibes.
Be Home Soon has a classic house structure and features a soft pad and old flavor piano as the main character.
With I Thought This Was Something, Francesco keeps with the same mood, but with a refreshing beat and original and accurate percussion, moving away from the traditional house rhythm into more of a Downtempo/breaks track.
The EP is closed by Luis Palomo, aka Ludowick, injecting a dose of energy into Be Home Soon and transforming the melody through minimalist arpeggios, reminiscent of Minilogue productions.
