Sonidos Distintos has reached its 11th birthday, and is getting ready to make the leap from digital to analog. SDLimited is now the platform’s second label, a new branch where musical pieces will be presented as 100 limited edition, 12” vinyls.
The author of the first release is Madrid-born Antonio Chavez: Anthonius. This harmony master has developed a unique sensitivity obtained through exclusively through his hearing, due to his early age sight loss. He was a conservatory student until the age of 16 and towards the end of 2009, he starting feeling very attracted to electronic music. Here he found a space to develop harmonic jazz structures, samba and classic music with a purpose of creating electronic club music.
The record was mixed and mastered by Tadeo, a respected dj, producer and head of Cyclical Tracks label, and it includes an A5 designed by visual artist Plástica, where Antonio resumes his creative process that lead to these 4 tracks. Furthermore, you will on the inside a card with a QR code to download a virtual reality app for your mobile phone.
